This runs the circuit anti-clockwise: south to Amboseli for elephant under Kilimanjaro, over the Namanga border to the crater and the Serengeti, then north again into the Mara. You see the same ecosystem from both sides of the line.

  1. Day 1

    Nairobi → Amboseli

    South on the Mombasa road, west at Emali, arriving in Amboseli for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

    Amboseli

    Early start for the mountain, a full day with the elephant herds and an afternoon on Observation Hill.

  3. Day 3

    Amboseli → Arusha

    West to the Namanga border, complete formalities, and continue to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon.

  4. Day 4

    Arusha → Ngorongoro

    Up the escarpment past Lake Manyara to the crater rim, with an afternoon at the viewpoint over the caldera.

    Ngorongoro Crater

    A full day on the crater floor, with lunch beside the hippo pool.

  6. Day 6

    Ngorongoro → Serengeti

    Across the short-grass plains and into the Serengeti, game driving as you go.

    Serengeti

    A full day among the kopjes and river lines of the Seronera valley.

    Serengeti

    A second full day, tracking the migration if it is within reach. Optional balloon flight.

    North to the Isebania border and across into Kenya, reaching the Mara for an evening game drive.
