Privacy policy
Short, because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive whatever you put in it — normally your name, email address, phone number, travel dates and party size. If you go on to book, we also collect the details our suppliers require: passport information, dates of birth, dietary requirements and any medical information relevant to your safety on a trip.
Why we hold it
To answer your enquiry, to quote and operate your trip, and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed tour operators in Kenya. We do not build marketing profiles and we do not sell data to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers who need it to deliver your trip: the lodges and camps you are staying at, the airlines for any internal flights, and park authorities where entry requires it. We share the minimum each of them needs.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for two years. Booking records are kept for seven years, which is the period Kenyan tax and tourism regulations require. After that they are deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and loads no third-party scripts. If we add analytics in future we will say so here and it will be privacy-respecting and cookie-free.
Your rights
Under Kenya's Data Protection Act you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where we are not legally required to keep it. Email us and we will respond within thirty days.
