Ol Pejeta sits on the equator between Mount Kenya and the Aberdares, running cattle and wildlife on the same ground. It holds the largest black rhino population in East Africa, a chimpanzee sanctuary, and the last two northern white rhino in existence.

Day by day

  1. Day 1

    Nairobi → Ol Pejeta

    North via Thika and Nanyuki, crossing the equator, and into the conservancy for lunch. An afternoon game drive takes in the rhino sanctuary and the chimpanzee sanctuary, and you can add a night drive after dinner.

  2. Day 2

    Ol Pejeta → Nairobi

    An early game drive, optionally on foot with a ranger tracking rhino, then breakfast and the drive south to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
