The three things everyone wants to do in Nairobi, run as one day so you are not paying for three separate transfers. The Giraffe Centre, the Sheldrick elephant and rhino orphanage, and a meal at the Carnivore — the open charcoal pit restaurant that has been a Nairobi institution since 1980. Take it with lunch or with dinner.

Day by day

  1. With lunch

    09:30 – 15:00

    Pick-up around 09:30 and out to Langata for the Giraffe Centre, where you feed the giraffe from a raised platform and can walk the short forest trail. From there to the Sheldrick orphanage for the 11:00 feed and mud bath, which runs for an hour. Lunch at the Carnivore afterwards, then back to your hotel in the mid-afternoon.

  2. With dinner

    09:30 – 22:00

    The same morning at the Giraffe Centre and the elephant orphanage, back to your hotel to rest through the afternoon, then collected again in the evening for dinner at the Carnivore and dropped back afterwards.
